This firm specializes in Family Law/Matrimonial/Civil Union matters. This entails deciding whether mediation or litigation is the proper avenue; developing parenting plans; calculating child support and alimony; preparing settlement agreements and pre-nuptial agreements; helping in the division of marital assets and debts; representing clients in domestic violence actions; adoptions and those who have removal of children from New Jersey as an issue.

Our style is to first attempt settlement utilizing four way meetings and settlement agreements to narrow the issues and obtain resolution. Although the firm handles uncontested divorce routinely, Ms. Cerruti also focuses on complicated financial matters utilizing her background in accounting and finance. Often cases are referred to Ms. Cerruti from other matrimonial attorneys because she has been so successful with complicated financial cases.

It’s important to note that Ms. Cerruti is a certified mediator as well as a Certified Matrimonial Attorney and a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.
