Ms. Cerruti has over 18 years of Family Law Litigation experience. Although she specializes in Divorce Law, Civil Union, Adoption and Children’s issues, she receives many referrals from other lawyers who need an attorney with expertise in divorce cases that have complicated financial issues. |
A graduate from Seton Hall University Law School, She has an MBA in Finance and an undergraduate degree in accounting. Ms. Cerruti is one of approximately 83 attorneys in the state admitted as a Fellow in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and is certified by the Supreme Court as a Matrimonial Law Attorney.
Ms. Cerruti was on the Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Association – Family Law Section; Executive Board of the Essex County Bar Association – Family Law Section; is the Chair of her section of the Fee Arbitration Committee of the Office of Attorney Ethics; was a barrister for three years in the Arthur T. Vanderbilt Chapter of American Inns of Court and has authored newsletters for family therapists in three counties since 1990. Some newsletters are included.
The newsletters provide the latest developments in family law applicable to marriage and family therapists.
She is a member of the Seton Hall University Athletic Hall of Fame; Hudson County, New Jersey Athletic Hall of Fame and a former club champion in Golf.
